You can scuba dive between continental plates?  Yes, it’s true.  The Silfra fissure in Iceland is a crack between the Eurasian and North American continental plates, and you can actually scuba dive (or snorkel) between the plates.  It’s a bit chilly at a whopping 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit (2-4 Celsius), so dry suits are a given to keep you warm and cozy.  The visibility in the water is pristine, supposedly over 300 feet (100 meters).  And did I mention that you get to swim between continental plates???
